Great post, Crystal. Love the new site too.

Van Gogh’s story is so sad, but I didn’t realize how prolific/compulsive he was until I read your post. It seems like a lot of successful writers share this trait as well. Some have suggested that Stephen King’s writing is compulsive, something he HAS to do.

I actually do have a ticking clock over my head, and I’m hoping it will start pushing me even harder. Failure is not an option (but sadly, still a possibility).

      Yay! Thank you!

If your travels ever take you to Amsterdam I highly recommend paying the gallery a visit. Van Gogh was also a great writer, I wanted to buy his book of letters but then I would have had to lug it all over the place which made me think twice!

Failure is always a possibility… but I absolutely believe in you and your writing. Always have and always will. 🙂
