Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Crystal Bourque has been captivated by the fantastic for as long as she can remember. Growing up on children’s classics like: James and the Giant Peach, The Chronicles of Narnia, and The Fairy Rebel, she quickly discovered that reading about these intriguing worlds was simply not enough. She had to try her hand at creating some of her very own.

She has since published the first three spell-binding novels in the Book of Eve Series, and enthralled fantasy readers from all across the globe. Equally enchanted by the magical and the macabre, Crystal is a member of the Ontario Chapter of the Horror Writer’s Association, and is a graduate of the Humber College Writer’s Correspondence Program (2013). 

When she’s not busy inventing a new world for her readers to get lost in (or fantasizing about being a sword wielding princess) she can be found singing loudly, trying out a delicious new recipe, or satisfying her wanderlust by traveling. Crystal is currently working on the forth of four novels in the Book of Eve Series.
